Our History

Girls Who Code - WashU is a chapter of the national nonprofit Girls Who Code. Our group came into existence after the founder of Girls Who Code, Reshma Saujani, came to WashU's campus to speak about her passion for her organization and the need to close the gender gap in the world of tech. Inspired, a few young women decided that WashU students could help work towards that goal and be a resource for girls throughout the St. Louis community.

Currently, we're working on growing our team and adding some amazing new members with a diverse set of interests. If you're interested in applying, click on the button below!
